You will be responsible for the production of both statutory accounts and sometimes management accounts, as well as Vat returns, and being trained so that you can prepare annual FCA returns for your clients. To be considered for this new role (September 2021) it is likely you will be a part qualified ACCA or ACA, or a finalist, likely with between 2 and 3 years experience. It is likely you will be an Accounts Semi Senior or Business Services Semi Senior based in a good quality practice firm of any size, looking to upgrade to a larger firm and learn how to work with financial services based clients in a more established team with better progression and opportunities for future development. Your current role must include the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments. It would be an advantage if you had experience of a wide range of software packages including Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. It is also vital that you are well presented, well spoken and professional as this is a client facing position. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines. .
