If so, this growing accountancy practice firm with 50 staff based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years. Based in the busy Business Management department, your role will be hands on, and will include managing your own portfolio of clients, bookkeeping assignments using Quickbooks and Xero, processing client payment runs, sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, expenses and invoices, preparing VAT returns as well as being trained in the future so that you can produce tour accounts for music bands and artists that are on tour. Training will be provided as required and study support for the AAT and / or ACCA offered. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array well known music artists and bands as well as up and coming artists and general entertainment and media businesses.
To be considered for this new role (June 2024) it is likely you will be either at Junior / Trainee or semi senior level with between 1 and 4 years experience working for a good quality accountancy practice firm, carrying out general bookkeeping and VAT duties. You must now be looking to upgrade to an accountancy firm based in Central London where you will work with music and entertainment clients, particularly music bands and artists that are on tour in the UK and abroad. You will be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing firm and continue to learn new accountancy and bookkeeping skills. Experience of Quickbooks and Xero would be an advantage.
