Are you a fully ACA or ACCA qualified Statutory Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial boutique Accountancy practice firm based in an easily accessible location in the West End (Zone 1 Central London)? If so, this well established accountancy practice that is part of a large international network of firms, is looking to recruit a fully ACA or ACCA qualified (either recently qualified or with up to 3 years PQE) Accounts Senior or Senior Accountant due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from competitor firms. Your role will be varied and will include spending 3 to 4 days a week on one particularly large clients, with the remainder of your time split across various other clients. You will be responsible for preparing Statutory Accounts from start to finish Corporation Tax returns, Assisting with Personal Tax returns in January, VAT returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as management accounts, various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to Manager grade in a short space of time. The firm offer hybrid working and you will work 4 days in the office and 1 day from home as well as flexible working hours.
To be considered for this new role (March 2025) you will be a fully qualified ACCA / ACA Accounts Senior or Senior Accountant currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, VAT returns and Tax returns. You will probably be working in a small or medium size firm in a mixed general practice role and be looking to upgrade to a better quality firm with better support, training and structures in place as well as work with more interesting and high profile clients. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.
