Based in a niche team, you will work with a range of interesting clients from sectors including technology, property, renewable energy, retail, financial services, gaming, construction and many more. Your role will be a mixture of hands on and reviewing. Your role will be split evenly between both statutory accounts and management accounts, as well as Vat returns, corporation tax returns and other ad hoc duties and projects. You will also have the chance to work closely with clients in setting up and implementing new software packages (such as Xero) and new systems, processes and controls in place and you will often act in an advisory capacity for clients. You will also be responsible for reviewing the work of junior staff and providing support and training / guidance to the juniors. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. The firm uses a variety of software packages including Xero, CCH and Sage. .
To be considered for this new role due to growth (September 2022) it is likely you will be either ACCA or ACA qualified and either recently qualified or be a few years post qualified. You will be working for a good quality practice firm, either medium or large in size. You must have experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts and management accounts from scratch as well as reviewing work and ideally implementing new software solutions for clients. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including CCH, sage and Xero, would also be an advantage. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 practice based in a City location in Central London where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and receive top training, support and future progression to Manager grade on offer. .
